Update as of May 22, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. CST

We want to provide an update on the status of COVID-19 in our Oak Trace community. Over the last few weeks, we tested additional residents in our Health & Wellness Center for COVID-19. Additional tests performed over the last week resulted in no new positive resident cases of the virus. There are a few additional test results pending, but as of Friday, May 22, we have four active resident cases of the virus. Three residents are being cared for in our Health & Wellness Center, and one resident is receiving care in the hospital.

By way of recap, we also have four active team member cases of COVID-19 among individuals from our Health & Wellness Center.

While this is encouraging news, we will continue to work with the DuPage County Health Department and our Medical Director to carefully follow our infection control protocols. Our team continues to be proactive in mitigating the risk of further exposure to the virus within our community. We continue to be diligent in our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our residents and team members.

We appreciate your support and continued adherence to the protocols we have implemented to protect our residents and team members.

You are always welcome to contact your Oak Trace management team with questions and concerns.
